Auburn Man Admits to Schuyler County Sex Charge

An Auburn man is facing jail time after pleading guilty to a felony charge of course of sexual conduct against a child in Schuyler County.

Back in August, charges were filed against 56-year-old James Russell by a woman and a female juvenile who accused him of sexually assaulting them a number of years ago in the town of Hector. Russell was taken into custody on October 11th.

After pleading guilty last Thursday, Russell was sent to Schuyler County Jail to await sentencing on January 18th.
