One Injured, Home Destroyed in Victory House Fire

A firefighter enters a fire-damaged home in Victory, New York, following a house fire that resulted in one injury and destroyed the residence.

One person was hospitalized with burns following a house fire early Monday morning in the town of Victory.

Firefighters from Victory, Conquest, Aurelius, and Plainville responded to the blaze at around 5 a.m. at a mobile home on Broadway Road.

The Victory Fire Department told The Citizen that the home was a total loss. Two people were displaced by the fire, and one was taken to Upstate University Hospital with burns. The person’s condition was not known as of noon.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
