Rochester Woman Charged With Shoplifting In Victor

On Friday, Jacqueline Chesler, 84, of Rochester, was taken into custody following a shoplifting complaint at Von Maur in the Town of Victor.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Chesler is accused of passing all points of sale without rendering payment for $175 worth of merchandise. She was charged with petit larceny.

Chesler is scheduled to appear in the Town of Victor Court at a later date to answer the charge.

 

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
