Sennett Woman Charged With Endangering Child Welfare

On Saturday afternoon, a Sennett woman was arrested by Cayuga County Sheriff’s Deputies following an incident in the Town of Sennett.

Deputies taken Marybeth Rizzieri, 42, into custody at approximately 4:48 p.m. Following an investigation, Rizzieri was accused of committing acts that endangered a minor and attempting to interfere with law enforcement duties.

She has been officially charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree. Rizzieri was processed on the charges and is scheduled to appear in Sennett Town Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
