A road work sign alerts drivers to construction, such as the ongoing paving project on Stryker Avenue in Owasco.

The Town of Owasco is asking motorists to avoid one of its streets this week as it begins work on a paving project.

Residents are asked to avoid Stryker on Ave on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00a-4:00p as crews work on the street’s paving project.

Officials said the road will remain open for those who live on Stryker Ave; however, at times, they will not have access to their driveways.

Additionally, officials said the project is weather-dependent, and rain could affect the schedule.
