Wreaths Across America Ceremonies Planned Across the FLX

Thousands of snow-dusted gravestones at the Bath VA National Cemetery are adorned with wreaths and red bows during a Wreaths Across America ceremony.

Several locations in the Fingerlakes are taking part in the annual nationwide Wreaths Across America Day.

The annual day seeks to remember and honor those who served in the US military. The following local commemorations will be held on Saturday.

In Auburn, a wreath-laying ceremony will be held at the Episcopal Church of Ss Peter & John, 169 Genesee St.

Bath will hold its ceremony at the Bath National Cemetery on San Juan Ave.

Two events are planned in Canandaigua. One will take place at Academy Cemetery at the corner of Seneca Point Rd and Old West Lake Rd, while the second will take place at Hunn Cemetery at the corner of Woolhouse Rd and County Road 32.

In Middlesex, a ceremony will take place at Overacker Cemetery on Route 364.

All events begin at noon.
