Woman Gets Jail Time for Stealing From Geneva Employer

A Farmington woman will spend the next six months in Ontario County Jail after being found guilty of stealing more than $20,000 from her former employer.

Breanna Reed was convicted on a felony charge of grand larceny for stealing from an unidentified Geneva dental office. The theft of money occurred over a four-month period in 2021 when Reed held back 11 deposit envelopes.

The Finger Lakes Times reports Reed has paid back about $16,000.
