Wayne County Teen Shot in Rochester Monday Morning

UPDATE:   Police are still looking for the shooter, but did arrest 20-year-old D’Adrian Tucker, who allegedly ran from the scene with a loaded “ghost gun.”   Tucker was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

A 15-year-old girl from Wayne County is expected to recover after being shot early Monday morning on Rochester’s north side.

Police responded to reports of gunfire around 12:25 a.m. near East Ridge Road and North Clinton Avenue, where they found evidence of a shooting.

About an hour later, the victim arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her lower body. Investigators confirmed that she was injured during the East Ridge Road incident.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
