A weekend motorcycle accident claimed the life of a Wayne County man.
State Police say Roger Silcox, of Lyons, was riding south on Layton Street Road in the town of Lyons just before 3 Saturday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding went off the road and struck a tree. The 59-year-old Silcox was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital where he later died.
State Police are continuing to investigate.
