Wayne County Man Killed in One-Car Accident

A one-car accident in Lyons claimed the life of a Wayne County man.

State Police say Brandon Hunter of Williamson was driving north on Maple Street shortly after 9 Wednesday morning when he went off the west side of the road and struck an earth embankment. The impact caused the vehicle to roll over multiple times, ejecting the 26-year-old driver.

Hunter was airlifted to Strong where he was pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation.
