Wayne County Manufacturer Awarded Grant Funding for Expansion

A Wayne County manufacturer has been awarded a half-million dollars in Empire State Development grant money and Excelsior jobs tax credit from the state.

Magnatag was awarded $250,000 in Empire State Development grant money and $250,000 in Excelsior jobs tax credits from the state. The funding was awarded through the state’s Regional Economic Development Council initiative.

The manufacturer of customized magnetic whiteboard systems will purchase new machinery and equipment to expand manufacturing operations in Macedon. The new machinery will allow the company to diversify and expand its product line.
