A $4.51 million budget for the next fiscal year has been adopted by the Waterloo Village Board. The new spending plan goes into effect in June.

The Finger Lakes Times reports the general fund tax rate increased from $19.55 to $19.80 per $1,000 of assessed value.  The approved budget does not include an increase in the sewer rate, but the water rate will go up $0.30 cents, to $6 per 1,000 gallons used.
