Waterloo to Add Four Names to Purple Heart Monument

The Village of Waterloo will honor four people being added to the Purple Heart Monument in LaFayette Park.

The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the names of Wilber A. Bachman, Sean T. Edmunds, Arthur Elmon Taylor, and Joseph T. Zeoli being enshrined.  The monument was initially unveiled in August of 2020.

Former State Senator Mike Nozzolio will serve as emcee, and remarks will be given by State Senator Tom O’Mara, Assemblyman Phil Palmesano, and Mayor Walt Bennett.

The public is invited to attend.
