The mandatory water conservation order has been lifted for the Seneca County village of Interlaken. The county Health Department on Monday said the order was lifted because the routine maintenance on the wells has been completed and the level in the water tower has returned to normal.

The Health Department would like to remind residents that this is the time of year that the well system has a hard time keeping up with demand. They are encouraging residents to continue to conserve water.
