Vehicle Damages Basketball Court in Geneva Park

Tire tracks are visible on a damaged outdoor court in Geneva Park, following an incident reported by Finger Lakes Daily News.

The Geneva Police Department is asking for the public’s help after a vehicle damaged the basketball court at Nieder Park early Monday.

Officers were called to the park around 6 a.m. for a criminal mischief complaint. Police say someone drove through the park and did multiple burnouts on the newly resurfaced basketball court, causing more than $500 in damage.

The incident remains under investigation.
