UPDATE: Police Release Names in Victor Fatal Car Accident

Police have released the names of the three people involved in Wednesday morning’s fatal two-car accident in Ontario County.

80-year-old Salvatore Carmosino, of Tolland, Connecticut, was killed after he failed to yield the right of way when he pulled onto State Route 96 from Omnitech Place in Victor and was struck on the driver’s side door by a southbound vehicle. His wife, 76-year-old Carolyn Carmosino, was a passenger in the car and underwent surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital for internal injuries and is listed in guarded condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The driver of the other vehicle, 33-year-old Abby Durr, of Victor, has since been released from Strong.
