We have an update on a story we told you about earlier this week in Seneca County.

An 18-month-old child was struck and killed by a car in Fayette on Tuesday. State Police say the 33-year-old driver of the car backed over the infant who she thought was not outside of the car. The child was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and no criminal charges are expected to be filed.
