Teenage Driver Suffers Broken Wrist in Wayne County Crash

An 18-year-old driver suffered a broken wrist after beinv involved in a one-car accident Sunday morning on Newark Marion Road in the town of Palmyra.

Deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office allege Zyler Reeves, of Walworth, was traveling north at around 7:20 when he drove off the eastside of the road and into a fence before he continued on north and struck a tree, causing his car to end up on its side.

In addition to the broken wrist, Reeves also suffered other undisclosed injuries, and was taken to Newark Wayne Hospital. What led to Reeves driving off the road remains under investigation.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was arrested on scene by Palmyra Fire Department Rescue 9, East Palmyra Fire and Finger Lakes Ambulance.
