SUV Driver Hurt After Colliding With Wayne County Snowplow

The driver of an SUV was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after colliding with a State DOT snowplow on State Route 31 Saturday night.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, 70-year-old David Brandt left his lane of travel, crossed over into the oncoming lane, and collided head-on with the plow.

Brandt suffered undisclosed injuries and was taken to Rochester by ambulance. The driver of the plow was not hurt.

The investigation is ongoing.
