Study Suggests Two Seneca County Ambulance Services Merge

“The North Seneca and South Seneca ambulance services should merge into one and contract with Seneca County.”

That’s the recommendation being made by the Center for Governmental Research of Rochester in a draft study commissioned by the county Board of Supervisors.

The Finger Lakes Times reports the study found there are significant concerns about the future of the workforce and establishing a sustainable financial model. The final report will be presented to the County Board of Supervisors next month.
