Strong Thunderstorms Rip Thru The Region

Strong Thunderstorms passed through the Finger Lakes yesterday.

Hundreds of NYSEG customers in Cayuga, Seneca, and Ontario counties were without power Tuesday afternoon.

Today’s forecast-

A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. South wind 6 to 8 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
