A Sunday afternoon storm caused damage in the town of Canandaigua, forcing the temporary closure of Thomas Road between Route 332 and Brickyard Road.

Town officials said multiple utility poles and wires came down across the roadway. Crews worked for several hours to clear the debris and restore service.
