Sodus Man Injured in Property Damage Accident

A Sodus man suffered minor injuries after being involved in a one-car crash in the village of Sodus Point Friday night.

An investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office determined John Rayburn left Route 14 near Greig Street before striking a fixed object decoration and signpost in the entrance of a local business. Rayburn suffered minor injuries, including contusions on his hands and minor lacerations on his upper body as a result of the accident. He was taken to Rochester General Hospital for minor injuries.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by Wayne County Ambulance and EMTs, and Sodus Point Fire.
