The Seneca Falls Town Board tonight will again discuss granting a town zoning permit for the Seneca Meadows Landfill.

The issue was tabled back in May.

The town permit is not necessary for the landfill to operate because it is superseded by its state operating permit, which expires at the end of next year.

Seneca Meadows each year asks for the permit, but the board refuses because of complaints about odors that some say violates the host community agreement between the town and the landfill.
