Several people were airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital after being involved in a two-car collision in Wayne County.

David Brown of Marion was driving west on Ridge Road when his vehicle was hit by an eastbound car attempting to turn onto North Huron Road in Huron. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports Brown and an undisclosed number of passengers were taken to Rochester and indicated a couple of them were airlifted due to the seriousness of their injuries.

The other driver, 17-year-old Elijah Winter, of Pittsford, was ticketed for failure to yield.
