Deputy Sheriff Kyle Poormon was recently promoted to Sergeant with the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office. A swearing-in and pinning ceremony was held to honor the occasion on October 29 at the Law Enforcement Center in Romulus.

Sergeant Poormon will now be responsible for leading Sheriff’s Deputies as they provide police protection to this community. Sergeant Poormon is also a Firearms Instructor, Taser Instructor, and Field Training Officer.

Sheriff Tim Thompson remarked, “We are very proud of Sergeant Poormon and look forward to his leadership in this new role. He cares deeply about the safety of our members and this community. He is one of the leaders of our Training Unit and I have no doubt that he will excel as a Sergeant.”
