Seneca County Law Enforcement Honored for Outstanding Service

Seneca Falls Police officers and officials are honored for outstanding service in front of the Seneca Falls Municipal Building.

During this week’s Seneca Falls Town Board meeting, members of the Seneca Falls Police Department and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office were formally recognized for their exceptional work.

Life Saving Award

Officer Mestan received a Life Saving Award for his critical role in saving a man who suffered a life-threatening laceration to his arm.

Letters of Commendation

Several officers were awarded Letters of Commendation for their quick and decisive actions in apprehending a suspect who had fled from Onondaga County to a hotel in Seneca Falls with a juvenile victim the suspect had groomed online. Honorees included:

  • Officer Zettlemoyer
  • Deputy Greco
  • Lieutenant Strohm

The Town Board praised the officers for their dedication, professionalism, and swift action in protecting the community.
