The search resumed this morning for a person reported to be missing on Cayuga Lake. First responders spent most of Sunday searching by boat near the 7000 block of County Road 153 in Ovid.

Officials say the situation began early yesterday morning after a report of yelling from the lake. Nearby residents rescued one individual, who was unharmed, but a second person is still believed to be missing.

Authorities say they will release more details later today.
