Route 96A Repaving and Drainage Work Underway

Electronic sign on a highway shoulder reads '96A RAMP CLOSED' next to a 'Road Work Ahead' sign.
A portable electronic sign alerts drivers to the closure of the Route 96A ramp as repaving and drainage work continues in the Finger Lakes region.

Work started last week on resurfacing and repaving Route 96A from Routes 5&20 in Waterloo to Woodworth Road in Fayette.

The work also includes improving the drainage along the divided highway.

To help with the work the on-ramp to Route 96A from 5&20 has been closed to traffic.  To access Route 96A while traveling east from Geneva, you need to make a right turn at the stop light at the Lowe’s Home Improvement entrance.
