Traffic lights illuminate a wet intersection on a cloudy day, likely along Route 96A in the Finger Lakes region.

The Route 96A project to repair and resurface the highway is finished.

The $7-million-dollar project in the towns of Waterloo and Fayette wrapped up this month as the ramp from Routes 5&20 was reopened.

The months-long work took place between Routes 5 & 20 and then heading south to Woodworth Road. The work included new drainage work along the divided highway.

One new change is stop lights at the intersection of West River Road, Boody’s Hill Road, and Route 96A.
