Waves crash on a rocky and sandy shoreline of Lake Ontario under a blue sky with scattered clouds and green trees.
The rocky and sandy shoreline of Lake Ontario stretches under a blue sky with scattered clouds.

If you live along the Lake Ontario shoreline, you’re invited to attend a virtual public meeting next week to get the most up-to-date forecast for the Lake Ontario and St. Lawrence River basin.

Also at the August 30th session, the International Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence Board will discuss ice boom installation for the upcoming winter. The meeting is designed to provide information on water levels and flows, operational decisions by the board and to hear from the public to better understand the impacts current water levels have on their community.

You can find a link for the August 30th meeting that starts at 5:30 on the board’s website.
