Seneca County residents will have a chance Tuesday to weigh in on the county’s Draft Solid Waste Management Plan.

A public hearing on the plan will take place at the Seneca County Board of Supervisors’ meeting at the county office building in Waterloo. The meeting will begin at 6:00p.

The hearing was originally scheduled for the board’s October 8 meeting. The meeting was quickly adjourned without any hearing as a high turnout exceeded the legal capacity of the room where the hearing was scheduled at Three Bears Winery in Ovid.

The plan identifies a ten-year path to manage and reduce the amount of solid waste generated within the county.
