Power has been restored to the thousands of Rochester Gas & Electric customers in Ontario County who were without it for a period of time late Friday morning into the early afternoon.
During the outage, almost 7,600 customers were impacted. As of 1:45 p.m., the RG&E outage map showed that only one customer in Ontario County was without service. What caused the outage is still unknown at this time.
