A man who was struck by a car while crossing an intersection in Farmington Friday night has died from his injuries, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say 38-year-old Cory DiSanto, of Farmington, entered the crosswalk at the intersection of State Routes 332 and 96 around 10:30 p.m. when he was hit by a vehicle driven by 33-year-old Nicholas Pruden. Investigators say Pruden had a green light and the right of way at the time of the crash.

DiSanto suffered severe head injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he died Saturday.
