A pedestrian was hospitalized with minor injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a Victor parking lot over the weekend.

The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at Cobblestone Court, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies, along with New York State Police, responded to the scene following reports of a pedestrian hit by a car.

Investigators say 36-year-old Katelyn Demeyers of Farmington was driving a 2017 GMC Terrain through the lot when she struck a person who was crossing in a marked crosswalk.

The pedestrian was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have not said whether any charges are expected as the investigation continues.
