Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck by Car in Seneca Falls

A person was hospitalized on Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in the Kwik Fill parking lot.

According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. when a driver backing up their vehicle hit a person who was walking nearby. The victim was taken to Geneva General Hospital with injuries.

Police say the driver was issued several citations at the scene.

The Seneca Falls Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation assisted at the scene.
