#OvidStrong Thrift Shop to Open at Premium Outlets Wednesday

Tables overflow with donated clothes, toys, and household items for Ovid fire victims in a community room.
Donated clothes, toys, and household items fill a room, collected to assist Ovid fire victims in the Finger Lakes region.

As Finger Lakes Daily News first told you earlier this month, the United Way of Seneca County will open #OvidStrong Thrift Shop 2.0 at the Finger Lakes Premium Outlets for a limited five-day sale beginning Wednesday.

An overwhelming amount of donations were collected in response to the January 21st Ovid Main Street fire. The victims of the fire have taken what they need, so the remaining items will be sold to the public, with all proceeds going to the Ovid community.

All members in the community are welcome to shop Wednesday – Sunday, March 2 between 10:00-6:00. The pop-up store is located in Suite 79 between Skechers and Kate Spade.  Those interested in helping to volunteer time working at the store should contact [email protected] or 315-745-9928.

$5 bag – men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes, toys and smaller household items

$3 (2 for $5) – Men’s, women’s and children’s coats

$3 (2 for $5) – Blankets, sheets and pillows
