As Spring brings many animals out from their winter hiding, Ontario County Public Health reminding you to keep wildlife wild.

They say they receive many calls each spring about residents taking in baby racoons, skunks, and foxes, leading to inevitable bites and the chance of rabies.

If you encounter wild animals in your yard or while hiking, you’re reminded to leave the animals be, and if you’re bit, see a doctor.
