At the December Ontario County Board of Supervisors meeting, the sheriff’s department received special recognition from Peter Kehoe of the New York State Sheriffs’ Association.

The Sheriff’s Office was presented with a plaque for its adherence to the “Best Practices and High Professional Standards” in achieving the Re-Accreditation of the Jail Bureau.

Sheriff David Cirencione said, “This milestone is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our team to ensure the highest level of safety, professionalism, and care for our community.”
