Ontario County DMV Adjusts Hours Through Labor Day

The Ontario County Department of Motor Vehicles in Canandaigua has announced a temporary change to its operating hours.

Effective immediately, the DMV office at 20 Ontario Street will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. The modified hours will remain in place through Labor Day weekend, with regular hours resuming on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

The changes do not affect testing schedules. Learner’s permit testing will continue to be available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and CDL testing will remain on its regular schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
