One Injured in Head-On Crash in Seneca Falls

One person suffered minor injuries after being involved in a head-on two-car accident on State Route 414 near the Tops Plaza in Seneca Falls.

The investigation by Seneca Falls Police determined that a northbound vehicle was stopped in the turn lane, waiting to make a left-hand turn into the McDonald’s parking lot, when a southbound vehicle failed to maintain its lane. The southbound vehicle veered into the turn lane and struck the stopped vehicle head-on.

Airbags were deployed in both vehicles. One driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to Geneva General Hospital for evaluation. A passenger was assessed by EMS at the scene and was cleared with no reported injuries.
