One Geneva Man Shot, Another Stabbed Early Saturday Morning

A violent early Saturday morning in the city of Geneva left two men in critical condition at the hospital.

At around 1:40 a.m., police were called to a residence on North Genesee Street for the report of gunshots fired. Upon arrival, officers found a 54-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and a 32-year-old man who had been stabbed a number of times. Both victims are residents of Geneva and are expected to survive their injuries.

Police determined this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the community. No suspects have been identified or arrested.
