Several emergency responders were dispatched to a two-car crash with injuries just after 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The crash occurred at the intersection of County Road 28 and Emerson Road. Traveling eastbound, 26-year-old Kayla Battle of Canandaigua failed to stop at the intersection’s stop sign and struck the vehicle of 64-year-old Eric Peck, who was traveling northbound. The collisions caused heavy damage to both cars, with airbags being deployed in each vehicle.

Peck remained uninjured, but Battle was transported to F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua for a complaint of hand and arm pain.
