An ambulance responds to an emergency at night, its lights blurring with motion.

A Manlius man remains in Strong Memorial Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit following a Monday morning rollover crash in Wayne County, according to state police.

Troopers say the incident happened around 11:40a on State Route 104 in the Town of Sodus, where they found a 2018 Kenworth tractor-trailer in a ditch along the south side of the road, flipped on its passenger side.

The sole occupant, 45-year-old Timothy Zrebiec of Manlius, was found unconscious and partially ejected from the vehicle. Immediate aid was provided by Wayne County EMS and the Wallington Fire Department.

An ambulance took Zrebiec to the Williamson Airport, where he was then airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Police add that Zrebiec was admitted into the ICU in critical condition, where he remains at the time of reporting.

The roadway was closed for several hours for the investigation and clean-up. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and police say there are no indications of the involvement of drugs or alcohol at this time.

A minor fuel leak was contained.
