The Village of Waterloo remains without electricity this morning as crews continue working to restore service.

According to NYSEG, power to the village will remain shut off until at least 12:30 p.m.  The utility confirmed at 10:30 a.m. that the outage is expected to last a minimum of two more hours.

No details have been released on the cause of the outage or the scope of repairs being made. Village officials are urging residents and businesses to plan accordingly while crews work to bring service back online.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
