No injuries were reported after a North-Rose Wolcott school bus was involved in an accident this morning at the intersection of Draper and Butler Streets in Wolcott.

An investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office determined that the driver of a passenger vehicle was backing out of his driveway when he failed to yield to the oncoming bus and crashed into it.

No injuries were reported and minor damage was sustained by both vehicles.

The Sheriff’s Department said all students and staff safely arrived at their destination without further incident.

The investigation into the cause of the collision is still ongoing.
