Newark Seeking Summer Help at Dept of Public Works

The Village of Newark is looking for summer help in its Department of Public Works.

Speaking on FLX Morning, Mayor Johnathan Taylor explained that village typically hires two to three high school or college aged individuals for the summer months. Work consists of watering plants, weeding, and helping out with other tasks at the village’s parks and cemeteries.

Applications can be made in person or by contacting the department.
