New Reference and Technology Librarian Hired in Geneva

Geneva Public Library has appointed Hannah Gingrich as its new Reference and Technology librarian.

Gingrich brings eight-plus years of experience in public and academic libraries, coupled with multilingual skills. Originally from Potsdam, she has spent the past several years in Michigan, where she pursued her education at Hope College and obtained her Master’s from the University of Wisconsin.

In addition to her extensive library experience, Gingrich is proficient in French and has some knowledge of Spanish, further enhancing the library’s ability to serve a diverse community. Her expertise in reference services and technology will help strengthen the library’s commitment to providing accessible and innovative resources for all patrons.

“We are thrilled to welcome Hannah to the Geneva Public Library team,” Library Executive Director Frank Sykes said. “Her experience, skills, and enthusiasm will undoubtedly enhance our services and enrich the community.”
