As the debate continues on proposals to house migrants coming into New York City Upstate, Assemblyman Brian Manktelow says his constituents have concerns.

“This is what I know from back home, back in the district,” Manktelow said on FLX Morning. “People have grave concerns about bringing these individuals in. Nobody is against bringing people into the United States as long as we do it the legal way and the right way so we know their background, we know where they’re from, and where they’re going.”

Manktelow’s 130th district consists of all of Wayne County and part of Monroe.
