Participants from the HOBY Youth Leadership program in New York prepare meals for the Lasagna Love initiative at a local event in Geneva.

The second annual Homemade Lasagna Giveaway was held Saturday.

262 pans of lasagna were made available, ready for pickup to take home and cook.

Sponsored by the group Lasagna Love, the Hugh O’Brien Youth Foundation, BluePrint Geneva and Wegmans, the event was held this year at Hobart and William Smith Colleges.  Last year it was at Club 86.

The Hugh O’Brien Youth Foundation- known as “HOBY”- held a weekend retreat for high school sophomores at HWS and as their community service project they made the lasagna Saturday afternoon.
